Art blog post 3

Colour - I used the same colour scheme as the original artwork and I've made it pink. Although the process of transferring the files from my phone to my device altered it a bit. But the message still pans across.
Space - Just like the design, there is a lot of empty space.
Line - The line of my painting are also thin and precise just like the original artwork

Colour - I made the colour monochromatic with red contrast color just like the original artwork
Technique - In the original, the artist use photography but since I do not have photographic skills I have to find a workaround and draw instead.
Contrast - The colour red contrast the monochromatic background just like the original artwork

Colour - I made the colour scheme filled with cool colours just like the artwork
Technique- I replicated the unity of the painting through repetitions of the arches, mountains, and wavy clouds.
Space - just like the artwork, there is not a lot of dead space, and each space is being used but is unified in a way that the artwork doesn't look too loud.

Here are my logo practice and initial concepts to brain storm some ideas down

My logo design was too complicated and messy as there is so many elements. The teacher sent me this link to study this artist who also has a lot of ideas and elements in their work but they used different techniques to make it work and look good. One of the technique they did is they used multiple lines to create textures. I tried doing it on my logo and it looks good but far too complicated for my logo. The other technique they used is using opacity to lower and make them match together without looking too messy. I used this technique on my logo and it worked really well.
